Mi togli il fiato, you take my breath away 🤍

Do you see the little details? The sun on the bell towers of Borromini’s church and the way it’s pink and gold and peach at the same time? The way locals are congregating in Piazza Navona which was previously reserved for tourists? The little shop for tourists that’s so out of place but then wouldn’t anything be out of place next to such beauty? Do you see the green grass growing on the cobblestones? That never would have happened before because of the sheer amount of foot traffic that passed through this square on a daily basis.

These bright sunny February days are inspiring and beautiful and heavenly and I hope you enjoy this little slice of Roman magic as much as I do!
