Heart opening 💛
These days I’ve been teaching a whole lot more yoga than I ever have in my life. I’ve also started tour guiding a little bit again and I’m consulting on a very exciting secret project. It’s overwhelming and gorgeous all at once. Spring is right around the corner in Rome and there are blossoms on trees. We’ll eventually be able to travel between regions and then travel more than that and all the things are ultimately looking up.
In the meantime, I’m also getting excited about planning yoga + wellness retreats this season and creating physical and emotional space for people to spend a little time loving on themselves and being taken care of.
I’m writing more than ever and I’d be lying if I said I knew exactly what it’s all going to turn into.
My beloved walks around Rome are starting to be filled with flowers budding and longer days and sunshine and even if we’re all wearing masks it feels like we’re smiling more. I acknowledge wholly that (for me and many humans) pandemic fatigue is real and that feeling overwhelmed by the future really is too! So here’s my daily dose of optimism, welcoming in the slow change of season, using #ustrasana or #camelpose as a way to say: heart open is a pretty damn good way to be!
(Oh and yeah. I have a full moon hangover too)
