A ladygroove!

This: pleasure, hedonism, play, italianizzata, gioia (joy), leggerezza (lightness).

It’s an embodiment of how I try to live my life. Most of the time. Not always. It’s also extremely scary for me to post it. No single image or self-created label can fully capture the incredible amount of human that each and every one of us are.

I use this platform to advertise my tour guide services and my yoga teaching and my wellness retreats. Two years ago I was embarrassed to post a bikini picture, and now we’ve arrived here. Am I a ‘good’ yoga teacher if I post pictures of me half-naked covered in fettuccine, drinking wine? Will you trust me to take you on a cultural/historic tour of Rome if you’ve seen a picture of me in my undies? Am I a ‘good’ facilitator and retreat leader if I also admit to loving hedonist pleasures, sometimes? Am I being ‘too much’? Am I enough? Yes. Yes. Yes.

I’ve been informed by multiple sources that I’m a fair amount spicier in real life then I am on Instagram.

In this magnificent experience I found myself covered in honey, got tomato sauce all over everywhere, ate some very cold noodles, wore a cozy sweater and embraced softness, sat in a second story window completely naked looking out over traffic in Greenville, SC and so, so much more. Thanks for seeing me exactly how I am @ladygroove - I love you even more in real life than I do on this curated platform.
