Humbled ✨ But like seriously so much. I feel gratitude and awe and like so much is happening all at once.

I am humbled by yoga. By what my body can (and can’t) do. By the fact that you let me teach you. By the fact that you let me lead you on wellness retreats. By the fact that I get to share the things that mean the most to me on a daily basis. Honestly? It’s still wild to me that I can call myself a yoga teacher without my voice shaking ever so slightly. Finding my voice as a teacher has been such a contrast to finding my voice as a tour guide, or as a friend or a lover and yet? Its all really been a process of continuing to discover myself. And that, my friends, is so damn humbling.

I am grateful. Grateful for the past few weeks/months which have felt like a washing machine and I’ve emerged feeling shaken up and energized and a little stupefied by just how much is happening.

And so, in humble gratitude, I’ve learned how to use my voice cause I’ve learned to listen to myself. To quote a favorite whom I quote a lot:
“When a woman finally learns that pleasing the world is impossible, she becomes free to learn how to please herself” @glennondoyle

This is so true. But also: I am so grateful to you. Whoever you are, whatever you’re going through, however this time is unfolding for you. It is also true that no man/woman is an island. I am surrounded, literally enveloped, by some of the most inspirational and supportive humans I’ve ever come across. Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you (y’all know who you are )
