“Her Instagram is like a beautiful love letter to Rome and Italian culture”
My goodness. Who doesn’t appreciate being seen? But like, really seen? I’ve been musing on authenticity recently and on how many things I want to say on this little platform (but in concentrated bursts- which apparently is all creativity really is).
Anyway, so I received this in an email from a beautiful woman asking me to collaborate on a (exciting!) project and I must admit I’ve been digesting it and thinking about it since. She explained that she loved the way I combine my love of yoga and wellness and mental health with my love for travel and sharing the beauty of Rome. I wrote her back half-joking that she had just written my entire bio/life story and she replied graciously that it just came across that way on here, so I must be doing something right.
I guess I am. Actually, I know I am. It’s nearly spring! These days have been overwhelming and busy and beautiful and I’m celebrating the fact that I’m working (a lot) again and I have my toes dipped in tons of projects and they’re all related to things I love (wellness, yoga, tourism, Rome, tour guiding, writing, and the list goes on) and saying “yes!” continues to bring me all kinds of amazing places in this wild Italian existence I’ve carved out for myself. I’m quite aware there is still a pandemic as a global backdrop and I am also in awe at the sheer amount of creativity I’m seeing all around me. I’m especially in awe of the people I love all around me who deserve to be celebrated infinitely for all the things they’re doing.
And me? I’m going to keep on sharing my love story with Rome and my celebration of Italian culture and I’ll keep saying yes and I’ll keep celebrating everyone around me and that’s quite enough for today
