Honestly? Haven’t been doing as much yoga as I’d like recently and also haven’t been going to this amazing home away from home that much either.
Anyone and everyone who works in tourism and/or hospitality (I’m pretty sure) will agree with me: The past few months have been a wild ride. I blinked and there were tourists, I blinked again and I was working as a guide and my schedule (like life pre-Covid) started to fill up. Also? I blinked and I’d run four successful wellness/yoga retreats in 2021.
Its like life came at me so fast (little Ferris Bueller reference) that I had no idea that somehow I’d managed to steadily continue pursuing and achieving goals I’d set years and years ago.
So? Even when we feel like we’re not doing as much of the thing that lights us up, it’s always an important and beautiful process to look at the bigger picture and generally realize, to quote @glennondoyle foe the millionth time— we’re doing it right (being human).
And as an aside I have a feeling this space is gonna change soon cause I’m doing a course right now on somatics and body-oriented coaching that is lighting me up from the inside out and I haven’t really decided/I don’t know what the change is gonna look like but figure if I keep publishing that it’s gonna happen that eventually it will).
Or maybe, like all the things, I’ll actually notice more in hindsight and that’s okay too.
