Oh hi! Happy Easter 🐣 💛

A little inspiration from #aliceinwonderland:
“For, you see, so many out-of-the-way things had happened lately, that Alice had begun to think that very few things indeed were really impossible.”

And so, red zone, orange zone, yellow zone, white zone- we begin this slow climb to a new-new normal. Last night I was realizing that when I’m living my day-to-day life it can be super easy to forget that it’s not just me, it’s not just people I know, it’s not just Italy. The whole world isn’t traveling, the whole world is on pause, (mostly) the whole world is going through this seemingly impossible thing together. As Lewis Carroll wrote (in 1871!) lots of out of the way things happening together makes you realize that almost nothing is impossible. It’s up to us to decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing or an in-between thing. Well, it’s up to us and about a million external factors too haha

It’s easy for me to forget just how strange these days actually are. I remember, I forget, I remember again. I posted a meme a few weeks ago that said something like “Why am I feeling so anxious? She asked herself in the middle of a global pandemic that had been going on for over a year” to be honest- in addition to it being true, I posted it cause I thought it was funny. I was amazed at how many people responded to me privately saying that they’d been feeling it too and thanking me for posting it. My initial reaction was “but wait, I just thought it was funny” and then I realized it’s all the same thing: it’s funny, because it’s true. It’s oh so real that we all need the reminder, again and again and again. I know I do. So whatever it is, whatever you’re feeling, remember that life is always full of accomplishing seemingly impossible things and that these times are quite strange and that we’re all in this together etc. etc.

And, if you wanna have a little giggle: Remember that time all the famous people got together about a year ago and had a virtual singalong to “Imagine”? It’s been a pretty strange year y’all, no doubt about it
