2022. You’ve been a wildly expansive ride 🎢

Last month I went to Kuala Lumpur for 48 hours and found a Hindu temple (Indian) which was an interesting juxtaposition to all the Hindu temples in Bali and in general made me think and write a whole lot.

I thought about travel and religion and family and rituals and traditions and customs and moving around and airplanes and all the delicious little aspects of being human.

I don’t quite know where to start with all the things I want to share about the last 6 weeks.

Travel is, as Mark Twain said: fatal to prejudice and bigotry and narrow-mindedness.

Grateful for broad views.

Grateful for this wild life that doesn’t seem quite real, even still.

And really grateful for the coziness of family and friends and NC right now too.

As 2022 comes to a close, I’m trying to stay focused on all the expansion that has happened, stay excited about all the things yet to come, but most importantly stay really + deliciously present.

And if you’re struggling with end of the year pressure or holiday pressure or overwhelm in general, I’m sending you huge love. Take deep breaths. Bring awareness to right here, right now. You’re not alone. Really, truly ✨
