Golden hour with her majesty !

This picture represents: countless hours inside this magnificent building, the most visited monument in the world in 2019, my never ending obsession with golden hour light, reaching for low hanging fruit for an Instagram post.

What I’ve really been thinking about, pondering, musing on is laziness. My former life saw me hustling, racing into this building multiple times per day. I wouldn’t change a thing. My current life sees me at home more, doing yoga, chatting with friends, going on super long walks, absorbing the magnificence of my empty adopted home. I was speaking witb @kegstergal the other day and she said this “if you added up all the time in your life cumulatively, would you say you’ve been lazy?” No. Duh. I think that’s generally true for all of us. There are exceptions, like with anything, but as I find myself saying more and more these days (thanks @glennondoyle) “we’re doing it right”.

Wherever you are in the world, under whatever circumstances, I feel like this December we can all simply be a little softer with ourselves. We’re doing it right. And if somehow you can connect that sentiment with seeing the #Colosseum bathing in golden hour light, awesome
