Just a girl and one of her favorite monuments 💛

These days are strange, no question about it. We’re all adjusting our lives to accommodate curfews and businesses closing. We’re making sacrifices now with the hopes that in the near future we’ll be given more freedom, less strict rules. Looking towards a yet-to-be-defines future.

And me? I’m soaking it all in.The city void of tourists. The monuments as they sit pretty with a smaller audience. The Romans as they (we) go about our daily lives. Redefining normal. Restructuring how I think about work. Stepping outside of my comfort zone with a selfie stick in my hand. To be honest, public speaking has never scared me (I know, lucky me!) but walking around with a selfie stick and giving you virtual tours still makes me a little nervous. The idea of presenting my favorite place in the world feels more personal now that the city is void of tourists. And yet, we move forward.

A few days ago I spent an evening updating my website and the next day I launched my virtual tours on this platform right here. It’s funny how easy it was considering I’ve been avoiding it for approximately 8 months now.

So, really, this post is just a big THANK YOU to all of you who have already reached out about booking tours! It makes my heart so happy and I appreciate each and every one of you oh so much.
