In case we hadn’t noticed, I’m pretty sure my social media lacks a clear “strategy”

In the past week I’ve had a few people reach out to me on Instagram and ask me what I “do” in Rome. Ugh my least favorite and favorite question all at the exact same time.

I do, well, a lot. Apparently more than I give myself credit for as my nearest and dearest love to remind me. Now that I know a little bit more about human design (thanks @asiadawn_ and @whitneydawnpyles for inspiring me and teaching me) I like to rest on my laurels that as a #manifestinggenerator I’m actually not “supposed” to have just one job. Cool. That certainly checks out pretty much consistently in the last 19 years since I first entered the work force (shout out to La Paz, the restaurant that helped raise me).

So. What do I “do”?
-I host Wellness Retreats with an incredible assortment of talented teachers and wellness professionals. Mostly in Italy, with plans to expand (cue my 2022 word: #expansion)
-I lead customized day tours in and around the Eternal City
-I teach yoga, mostly to individuals and small groups (and occasionally online)
-I lead Women’s Circles (online and in real life)
-I write. Prolifically. Regularly. Consistently. One of my dreams is to publish a book
-I consult for travel companies looking to grow or expand in Italy

Finally? I am currently becoming certified as a body-oriented coach. I’ll be 35 this week. I didn’t plan on (another) career change. But here I am. And? I’m the first person to admit that the idea of coaching didn’t use to resonate with me and I am *loving* being proved completely wrong with this course.

I love humans and our experience (somatic and cognitive) so much, and that’s the thing that all my jobs have in common.

How do you feel when someone asks “what you do”? Im so curious!
