I did ballet for a few years when I was little and I never took to it.

My experience with yoga started when I was in college. But? It involved almost zero comprehension about where and how my body functioned.

My sense of rhythm is mediocre, at best. It didn’t even use to exist.

A few years ago I was able to completely detach from my body for hours at a time. I’d lead tours all day (in the sweltering heat) and I’d forget to eat or go to the bathroom. For 8+ hours.

So what happened?

I decided. I decided it mattered to me enough to learn more about bodies. I decided I was motivated. I decided that embodiment was my North Star.

I did my yoga teacher training. It was during that experience (and everything that followed after) that I learned about my own body. It was there that I learned about bodies in general.

I’ve spent the past years reading and studying and generally obsessing over bodies.

The journey continues. Now I’m learning how to be a body-oriented coach.

It delights me that this is all unfolding now, and it also scares me a too. I have a real block against over-marketing myself, but y’all are my online community and I want to work with you! If you’re not sure what coaching is/can do, feel free to reach out.
