Roma // Amor ✨

I lost track of her, just a little bit, over the last few months.

My sweet, beautiful city. She’s a complicated one, that’s for sure. And somewhere in my endless travel and work and play and visits and fun and challenging ‘big question’ life moments— I lost Rome a little bit.

I joke that Rome is an abusive relationship. The glitz of living surrounded by so much beauty is intoxicating, like having an especially attractive lover.

Living in Rome is to consume so much beauty each time you are in the city center, or happen to drive past the Colosseum, or watch golden hour skies melt into sunsets that have surprising new colors every single evening.

Perhaps I’m over-romanticizing (on brand).

I have plenty of friends who live here who don’t feel like this about her.

For me Rome is grounding and chaotic. Organized chaos is a place where I thrive.

This city has raised me into being the woman I am today and she has chewed me up and spit me out, too.

I’m at a crossroads in my life these days between continuing to work as a tour guide (and yes! I *am* still taking private clients this year) and fully launching my next chapter of really (but really) diving into somatic coaching and developing in-person workshops and and and.

I’m running wellness retreats, two of them, this spring and I couldn’t be more excited.

- Creativity + Movement!! Join us as we explore Tuscany, do yoga, meditate, write + journal, drink wine, eat yummy food, and lead workshops on the creative process. This is a really fun blend of worlds for me—Lauren and I both come from a background in tourism. The experience is like a marriage between a well-curated Tuscan trip and a wellness retreat.
