Well, that was fun
A week in Santorini with amazing people? Yes. Please.
2 years ago I dreamt of being where I am today. Leading yoga retreats, days filled with variety (and excitement!), a life where I set my own schedule (and trust the process).
It hasn’t been easy, per se. But when I surrender, everything happens a lot more ease-fully and things go a whole lot smoother.
Here’s the thing: I really don’t want you to read my posts and think that I’m suggesting that your life would be better if it was more like mine. In fact, that was always the thing that drove me crazy about the #wellnesspsace on social media.
I don’t think you should be me, not at all.
I think you should be the deepest, juiciest, most whole version of YOU. I think you can do that while keeping your job and your friends and your life, and even while keeping your vices. I think it’s a slow process and I definitely don’t think it’s linear.
I don’t believe life has a one-size-fits-all. And I don’t think any of us need to commit to one single all-encompassing life path or life goal in this very instant.
What I do think everyone *should* do is take a little time (or a lot) away from daily life to return to what truly motivates them, and I also believe (shameless promotion here!) that a retreat is a great space for that.
Things I believe in:
-chasing your dreams
-the power of community and connection
-traveling to new & foreign places opens your mind more than most things
-people are wired to seek connection and common ground, you have to be patient with the process.
-yoga & meditation & nourishment & adventure help speed it up.
-A retreat is for EVERYONE, not just “yoga people”.
Thank you to this gorgeous group of humans for trusting @lesant and @teodoyogaguitar and me to lead you, to hold you, to support you.
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart
