Pantone palette

A piece I wrote about Rome was just published on @the.suitest and I’m pretty proud of it.

This picture encompasses something I wrote about my beloved adopted city:

“Before my life was about the big monuments: the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona. When you’re explaining the surface to a first-time visitor in Rome, it can be hard to look for beauty and nuance in the small things. 2020 gave me the opportunity to get to know Rome more intimately. The little things became the big ones — the way the sunlight hits the buildings at golden hour became an obsession, the way the city smells of fresh-baked bread in the morning, the consistency of seeing familiar faces walking around a city that makes you feel anything but anonymous.”

Mmm hmm. Yeah. I just quoted myself on my own Instagram. It feels… questionable.

And? Right now I’m feeling overwhelmed and delighted with life and filled to the brim with plans and projects and fun and the impending arrival of what has quickly become my favorite season.

L’estate italiana is right around the corner

Life, in general, is really a beautiful and swirling adventure.

And? Still basking in the fact that in the last two years I’ve *finally* started writing and publishing it.

Hope your May is going beautifully, wherever you are 💛
