We were on an adventure that involved wine in the Tuscan countryside, a visit to @quercetodicastellina that was the stuff dreams are made of (from the perfect meal in the vineyard to the impeccable hospitality- stay tuned for my celebration of them on @the_italyedit) and a very, very temperamental electric car that made me both appreciate and hate technology. My god, we laughed so damn hard.

So why now? To be honest, I’m posting the picture cause it’s in my drafts and time is running out to post pictures on IG that look too “summery”. That’s a made up rule and this whole social media world is a little made up too, and yet it’s very real and very much influences how we exist in the big wide world 🌎

Anyway, in a classically me fashion I want to write about too many things at once. What’s the upshot? I adore my mama, I also adore wine tasting/drinking in Tuscany (so original, right?) and I deeply appreciate anyone and everyone who decides to take the time to read these posts. I often joke that I have almost zero social media strategy. It’s true. I don’t. But damn, as happy as I was when IG was down for hours and hours last week, I’m also happy to be able to ramble away here. And that folks, is all I’ve got right now
