This is me at @terenziwines in June. The wall was so hot I had to wear sandals to not burn my feet

I went on an impromptu road trip with my gal @morganickitchen in June and we decided to host a retreat here cause we both believe that wellness is a combination of discipline and pleasure. I believe that a wellness retreat should nourish and soothe your mind, your body, and your spirit. I believe that, sometimes this is achieved by waking up early and meditating in the silence of dawn. I believe that sometimes it is ‘achieved’ by tasting wine while you look out at the land that the grapes were grown on. I believe that it is achieved through community. I believe that when we unplug and take a little time to take care of ourselves, we’re able to show up better for others too.

And on a completely different note, a year ago I had co-lead one yoga retreat and now I have co-lead four. It feels surreal to claim and own that but also like this is just the beginning. And while the past 18 months sure have been strange (globally, locally, personally) it feels incredible that tourism is slowly picking back up. And also, the intersection between experiencing new things (travel) and feeling new things (yoga + meditation + mindfulness in general) is exactly where I want to be right now and I’d love to have you come along, too.
