There are so many different ‘scenes’ in Rome ✨

As tourism has oh so slowly started coming back and I am finally feeling (temporarily) re-rooted into my ecosystem here, I find myself contemplating just how much I’ve learned in the past 1.5 years, just how much I’ve changed. Winter 2019, I was a tour guide who wanted to teach more yoga. Now I’m a yoga teacher who is starting to do more tour guiding again. Identity has always been one of my favorite topics to muse on.

The consistency of the Eternal City provides so much comfort, so much steadiness.

My beautiful Rome, land of wandering nuns and perfect terracotta colored walls. Land of cobblestones and tobacco shops, land of walls with the paint flaking off of them. The place where the terrace bursting with plants in the upper left hand corner of this image and the Madonna and Child painting overlooking it might go unnoticed because this, this is a city of details.

My beautiful city, I’m happy to be back, right here, right now. And I’m happy to be leading a few tours again, and I’m happy to let you amaze me and delight me as often as you please.

Now, a question for you if you’ve read this far: What type of content would you like to see more of on here?
