Anahatasana: heart melting pose ❤️
So it’s 2021. I just had a 20-day detox from Instagram and it was glorious. And now I’m back. Unsurprisingly, things feel similar to 2020. The first weeks of this year have certainly been a rollercoaster. Me? I’ve been teaching yoga and writing and adjusting to new normals and spending the best coziest times with my favorite people (virtually and in real life).
We still can’t really travel. Now is a time to continue to rest. Now is a time to stay home. Winter has a funny way of making us feel a lot of feelings and historically I’ve avoided it by traveling to warm places. But this winter I can’t and so this winter I will rest and I will feel.
Back to 2021. This year I will teach more yoga and this year I will not spend each moment waiting for tourism to pick back up. This year I will create spaces for people to explore themselves through the beauty of retreating from the world. This year I have full faith that we will all grow and blossom and change and continue forward, no matter how hard it seems at times. This year maybe you will come to Italy 🇮🇹
I certainly hope so! To whoever is reading this who is feeling a little discouraged with nearly 11 months of pandemic under our collective belts. To you who is ready to start traveling again and ready as ever to come home to yourself. Let’s chat. Let’s do yoga. Let’s plan travel and adventure for the future, not to escape the current reality but to cushion it a little bit. I’m here, and I’m recharged and I’d love to hear from you.
Wanna start your yoga practice online? Send me a message. Want to walk around empty Italy with me (virtually)? Ditto. Interested in knowing about wellness retreats in Italy? I’ll be updating you on here and on my website. Let’s stay in touch. Connection is important these days. And there’s my slightly melted winter-y heart in a nutshell. Sending oh so much love
