Hi! I’m Rachel. This is a sweaty selfie of me flowing between yoga teacher life and tour guide life.

Those are (currently) my two main jobs. How I earn money. How I pay bills. My creative life is expansive too, but I have barely had time to put words to paper outside of my daily journaling practice in months because life is wild (and beautiful. and busy.)

I’m hosting *two* retreats in October (one in Tuscany, one outside Asheville, NC) and working on them has kept me busy, too.

Instead of a “get to know me” post this is what I like to call a brain clearing. It’s a practice I do in my journal where I bullet all my thoughts rather than free-writing. A little glimpse into my brain. Try it. It’s a nice structured way to journal without needing to be flowery with words.

I’ve been thinking a lot about:

✨ Embodiment and what being in the body means and how it’s changed for me since I started paying attention.

✨ Careers and timelines and relationships and love and following our dreams.

✨ How there are no rules (or very few) and most of the expectations we live by/live with are made up.

✨Evolution and digging your heels in when it’s time to let go.

✨ How we block ourselves from our potential by not getting out of our own (damn) way.

✨Identity and finding collective patterns in all the people I meet/come across in life.

✨ How growth is rarely linear.

✨Connection and how it’s the most important thing.

✨Writing a book 📖

✨ L’estate italiana and how grateful I am to get to have one (again) this year.

✨ Appreciating little things. Being kind to myself.

Any of those resonate? Can you go get a piece of paper and clear your brain too? ✍️

That’s all for now.
