Current mood: Sunshine 🌞

I’m getting personal/professional branding done (which feels really grownup and also like a long time coming) and everything I see feels like a color palette.

Terracottas and oranges and rusts and splashes of green and some bright blue sky and patina walls and faded shutters? Yes please!

Add some pink, too.

I was scrolling Instagram this morning (as one does) and found a thing that basically asked:

“If social media didn’t exist, would you still be conducting your life the way you are right now?”
-My answer is yes. I’ve been in love with Rome since before I started professing it on social media. Like, way before (I began moving here in 2009, officially since 2011).

Now that I’m limiting how many tours I accept a week (like for real this time though) and not working officially on anyone else’s schedule (eek), I have no “reason”, at least as it relates to marketing, to post Rome content. But this city inspires me. Delights me. Lights me up from the inside out. Especially this time of year. And while I do feel called to change up my Instagram and start creating carousels of words and musings and all things related to the journey we go on inside ourselves— Rome remains.

And when I scroll through the too-many photos I take on my phone, there’s simply a whole lot of Rome. K, that’s all.
