A dear friend called me an excellent “facilitator” the other day and it was one of those compliments that just— stuck 😍

I’m a retreat leader 🪄
It involves: facilitating, teaching, learning, organizing, holding space and so much more.

Why should you retreat? What’s the difference between a retreat and a vacation? Do I have to be “good” at yoga? Can I drink? But I’ve never meditated. What if I don’t know anyone?

I hear all these things and SO much more.

So here’s the concise answer:
✨You. Don’t. Have. To. Do. Anything.✨

This is the whole point of a wellness retreat of any kind.

It’s not a training. It’s not an obligatory anything. On a retreat, we empower you to make your own decisions.

Wanna skip morning practice and sleep in? Awesome! Do it.

Wanna not be social and have your dinner separate from the group? Also fine.

Did you want a glass of wine poolside, even though you know we have a yoga practice in the afternoon? You do you.

A retreat is an opportunity to get a little closer to what *you* want. Period.

The ‘wellness space’ is cluttered with overused cliches and I really want to emphasize that while a retreat is: #selfcare #selflove and a #reset, it’s also your space to make it whatever you want it to be.

-It’s an unfolding.

-It’s a jump off point for whatever comes next for you in your life.

-It could just be a much-needed vacation where you don’t have to plan a thing.

On retreat, we take care of you. We nourish you and plan your days and give you the freedom to plan them too.

We do yoga and we dance and we laugh and we meditate and we connect and we eat and we drink and we reconnect and we realize our place in community.
