I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer.
It’s a funny old thing how yesterday it was so hot in Rome and it felt like summer and I complained cause it was sticky and humid. And then this morning I woke up and it was a tiny bit chilly with all my windows open and I felt melancholy about the arrival of fall.
Everything changes. Quicker than we can possibly imagine. Seasons change, goals change, our desires, hopes, wishes and dreams- they can change too. Trying to be even more patient this fall. To give myself more permission to change, to grow, to try new things, to dive back into the old ones and to continue to let go of that super stuck belief that growth and progress are linear. Hint: I’m pretty sure they’re not, and I’m pretty sure we’re all doing it a little more right than we give ourselves credit for. Here’s to the fourth season of this crazy year, feeling (relatively) prepared to make the most of it
